Calves learn from their mothers; we start them early.


Repalcement Heifer during low-stress fenceline weaning. After a few days cows and calves gradually range farther away from the fence and the reassurance of visual and nose-to-nose contact. A cow or two with a younger calf might stay a while with the calves being weaned as a "baby-sitter."
